What a private-label programme looks like at PiHue
You send a size, quantity, construction preference (hand-knotted / hand-tufted / handloom / flatweave), and either a Pantone number, a PiHue in-house code, or a physical swatch. We return a quotation the same working day — including pricing, achievable GSM, lead time per piece, and a sampling plan. On approval: lab dip per colour (~10 days), strike-off at target construction (~15 days), bulk production (30–90 days depending on construction), FOB dispatch via Nhava Sheva (sea) or IGI Delhi (air). Colour matching that defends your brand standard
Every PiHue dye code is pre-matched to the nearest Pantone TCX/TPG textile reference using CIE76 ΔE in CIE L*a*b* space. The library distributes as: 346 codes (14%) at ΔE < 2 (essentially identical), 1,116 codes (47%) at ΔE 2–5 (retail-acceptable), 578 codes (24%) at ΔE 5–10 (visible shift, flaggable), 360 codes (15%) at ΔE > 10 (outside protein-fibre gamut).

Repeatability across seasonal drops
Your approved colours sit on our side with recipe numbers tied to the PO. Next season's reorder quotes the same recipe — no re-sampling, no colour drift between drops. We log dye-lot per shipment so if year-two needs the same corridor runner, we match against the original lot.

Can we reorder the exact same shade next season?
Yes. Approved recipes stay on file against your PO number. Next season's order quotes the recipe number — no re-sampling. Dye-lot variation across production is documented per shipment.
What if our brand Pantone sits outside your dye gamut?
We flag it at quotation (anything resolving at ΔE > 10 is called out) and propose the nearest honest alternative. You decide whether to adjust the target or accept the ΔE as-is.
