Pantone → PiHue → hex
Enter a Pantone TCX/TPG number, name, or hex. We'll show the closest wool and viscose/silk codes from PiHue's dye library, with a ΔE match score for every pair. Shortlist, build a palette, send for sampling.
Pantone® is a registered trademark of Pantone LLC. This tool offers approximate equivalences between Pantone TCX/TPG references and PiHue dye codes for shortlisting purposes. On-screen colour is indicative; physical lab dips confirm every recipe before bulk production. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Pantone LLC.

How the Pantone matcher works
For every Pantone TCX/TPG textile reference, we compute perceptual colour distance (CIE76 ΔE) against our 1,400 wool codes and 999 viscose/silk codes, then return the top five of each. Lower ΔE means closer: under 2 is essentially identical to the eye, 2–5 is close enough for most retail work, 5–10 is a visible shift (call it out at approval), above 10 is a loose match (usually means the Pantone sits outside our natural dye gamut — fluorescent neons and screen-primary RGB sometimes do).
The matcher is a shortlisting tool, not a specification. Every programme we run against a Pantone brief closes with a physical lab dip — a small yarn sample dyed to the agreed recipe, checked under a D65 daylight simulator, photographed and shipped to you for sign-off. Bulk production commits only after the lab dip is approved in writing.
